They will take time to understand existing systems, identify gaps and opportunities, develop practical recommendations, and drive solutions through implementation. This role requires strong ownership, sound judgment, excellent communication, and the confidence to challenge assumptions professionally while knowing when to seek input or assistance.

Responsibilities:
- Lead or participate in technology projects involving cloud services, infrastructure, automation, cybersecurity, collaboration platforms, data platforms, and business applications.
- Identify gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities across the technology environment, and drive practical improvements from evaluation through implementation with limited day-to-day oversight.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend technologies, vendors, and approaches that align with business needs; develop proof-of-concept solutions and clear comparisons where appropriate.

- Evaluate when work should be performed directly, automated, delegated, or coordinated through an external provider, with a focus on timely execution and sustainable internal capability.
- Support help desk effectiveness through escalation assistance, root-cause analysis, documentation, training, and process improvement without serving as a primary help desk resource.
- Provide timely, meaningful communication regarding projects, upgrades, outages, technology changes, and implementation status to technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience coordinating managed service providers, vendors, consultants, and other external technology partners.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, exercise sound judgment, and drive initiatives to completion.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with automation, scripting, systems integration, and process improvement.
- Experience evaluating technology platforms or vendors and presenting well-reasoned recommendations and alternatives.
